Hello! We’re Beau and Bethany Petersen, a husband-and-wife photography and videography team and the owners of Superior Sunset Studio, proudly serving Duluth, MN, Superior, WI, and the North Shore of Lake Superior.
We’ve been capturing weddings together since 2007, and our experience shows in the calm, fun, and relaxed atmosphere we bring to every session. Beau has a natural ability to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera—an essential part of creating authentic, natural images. He photographed his first wedding at just 15 years old and has now photographed over 1,000 weddings across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and beyond.
Bethany is our dedicated videographer and artistic editor, capturing meaningful moments alongside Beau and crafting films that tell your story beautifully, both on the wedding day and in post-production.
