I Do at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art

After completing her Master’s Degree in Chicago, Illinois, Bethaney moved to Madison, Wisconsin to pursue a Nurse Practitioner position in Infectious Disease/HIV/AIDS at the University of Wisconsin Hospital. Josh decided to move from Ontario, Canada to Madison, Wisconsin to pursue his Master’s of Business degree at the University of Wisconsin. Bethaney had a friend, Anuj, who also moved from Chicago, Illinois to pursue his Master’s of Business at the University of Wisconsin. Bethaney had met Josh at a few MBA events, but avoided his advances; it didn’t help that he corrected her grammar the first time they met. His persistence paid off and she agreed to a first date. However, Bethaney invited a friend to show-up 30 minutes in, “just in case she needed an out” she said. So, although their first date came with a surprise crasher the rest was history. Our love for travel, sports, and adventure has kept us busy; and we couldn’t be happier or feel luckier to have met each other. ~ Bethaney and Josh
